Anthony G. DelBuono
about

Anthony G Del Buono was born in New Britain, CT, raised by his mother and father in Southington, CT, and is the eldest of three younger sisters. Anthony’s passion for art has been in his heart and hands since birth from as far back as he can remember. He was always drawing everything in sight when he was a small child. He spent many years and hours pouring out his imagination through various mediums.  He had no authentic formal training besides summer art camps in his youth. His talents were tucked away and not harnessed until high school when he was inspired by fellow artist and art teacher Ralph Grimaldi. Mr. Grimaldi’s influence taught Anthony that art is “one’s own vision of anything.” Shortly after, Anthony won numerous awards, such as Artist of the Month, Artist of the Year, and Scholastic Art Award in high school.
Mr. Grimaldi had Anthony try pottery, pen, ink, dyes, painting with acrylics, oils, and various mixed mediums.  Anthony had planned to pursue a career in the arts, but “life” had other plans, and finances pushed him into a career path in the military.  It did not stop him from his passion as he continued to draw and paint while in Basic Training. Anthony drew the platoon mascot and painted a mural in the company’s barracks game room: a mural of an eagle and an American flag.  Anthony also drew sketches for his fellow soldiers for locker dressings or tattoo needs.  Moving further in training, Anthony created and painted two other murals at the Battalion Headquarters and in the Honor Hall Flag room. He also produced a cover for the HUMVEE Maintenance SOP.
Throughout the years, Anthony has continued to draw for various reasons. After all this time, he has decided to bring his gift from God to some purpose in life and promote and move his expressions out into the world.  He has recently discovered his newfound love of digital mediums and has rekindled his passion for painting. He looks forward to moving his creations in a variety of flavors and an array of mediums. Anthony DelBuono is one artist to keep your eye on in the future. He has recently acquired his website, showing how his portfolio has grown. His passion for abstract art has been defined as “no rules, no boundaries’.” He has taken this simple fundamental to become his mission statement. In 2009, Anthony decided to sell some work after an inquiry. Since then, he has displayed his pieces at dozens of shows in the Central Florida area and has joined several art affiliations. Two current affiliations are Art Army and RAW Artists.  Although his inventory of Fine Arts (paintings) is minimal in numbers, his digital paintings fulfill his daily requirement for being creative. Anthony has created over 5,000 digital images.  He states that his passion for the arts has grown tremendously over the past few years and is very grateful for the blessing that started once as a hidden talent only known by a few. He has now been able to gift many of his works and sell many of his unique creations.
Furthermore, he is actively involved with many local events, organizations, and fundraisers and has donated his pieces to many causes.  Aside from fundraiser donations, he has organized various Daytona Beach and Orlando Art events. He has also displayed pieces for shows at City Arts Factory, Club 57 West, NV Art Bar, FAVO, Suite B.
In addition, Anthony finds his inspiration fueled by his pieces in various ways, but the most common factor is while listening to music.
